Application for Subsidy under SIS scheme is to be submitted online by eligible units. The application needs to be submitted at http://ipmc.kerala.gov.in. The following points need to be followed while submitting the online application:
- ONLY the proprietor/ one of the Partners/one of the Directors of the Unit shall submit the online application on behalf of the Unit. Aadhar number of the applicant will be used to verify the same.
- The online system is called Service Plus. The applicant first needs to Register in Service Plus and subsequently login.
- After logging in, the user has to click 'Apply for Service' from 'Menu'.
- In the application, true information about the Unit and its investments need to be provided.
- Investments in Furnishing, Electrification and Hardware/ Software/ Plant/ Machinery may be provided substantiated with invoice of purchase of assets. Note that only investment in purchasing brand new products will qualify for SIS.
- In the application, the applicant needs to declare on behalf of the Unit its agreement to the Terms and Conditions for applying for SIS.
- Once online application is submitted, the applicant will receive notification online and also by email providing Application Reference Number that can be used to track the status of the application.
- The applicant can login and click 'View Application Status' from 'Menu' and track status of the application at any time.
- The following documents/ Annexures need to be submitted physically at Kerala State IT Mission at the address given under Contact Us. The hard copy of the documents should reach KSITM within 30 days of submitting the online application, otherwise the application will be rejected. In that case, a fresh application can be submitted again while the window for submission is open.
- The Application will be processed by Kerala State IT Mission only on receiving the physical documents.
- The Application will be reviewed and could be rejected due to various reasons. In case of rejection, the applicant will be notified on the Personal email id and Office email id provided in the application.
- As part of verification, the Site visit by officials may be scheduled.
- If the application is finally approved, the Unit may need to produce a Bank Guarantee as security for its agreement to the Terms and Conditions.
- Once the Subsidy is granted, the Unit will be audited for 5 years if it carries out its business as per the objectives set forth at the time of applying for the Subsidy. Each year, the Unit needs to send Audit statement by Chartered Accountant on business operations.
